The pre-load process started on Wednesday, November 2, which means you have plenty of time to prepare for the official launch. If you’ve already pre-ordered Ragnarök, you’ll be happy to know that you can pre-load it now, to access the game straight away once it unlocks. When can you start pre-loading God Of War Ragnarök? The previous God Of War game, from 2018, is already on PC, though, if you want to try that. Maybe Sony will speed things up enough that it’ll be out next year, but that’s not likely. The delay between a game being released on PlayStation console and PC is getting shorter every time but you still shouldn’t expect God Of War Ragnarök until at least 2024. Probably, but there’s been no official announcement yet. You can see God of War Ragnarok’s Jötnar Edition unboxed in the video below.God Of War Ragnarök has been available for pre-order for quite some time now but the official release date for the game is Wednesday, November 9.Īs the game is still a PlayStation exclusive, you can download it as normal from the PS Store or buy the physical version from any typical games retailer. It’s a cross-gen game, so it’s available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. That ultra deluxe version includes the game, a set of pins, Brok’s dice set, a 16-inch Mjölnir replica, and much more. Sony and Santa Monica Studio also unveiled a variety of editions for God of War Ragnarok, which range from the standard edition (which costs $59.99 on PS4, $69.99 on PS5) and a “launch edition” that includes Risen Snow armor and tunic cosmetics for Kratos and Atreus, respectively, to the spared-no-expense Jötnar Edition. Sony also released a new trailer for God of War Ragnarok, but don’t expect new gameplay: It’s a CG trailer setting the tone for Kratos and Atreus’ new adventure. Ragnarok was previously slated for a 2022 release window after being delayed out of 2021. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 game is now slated for release on Nov. God of War Ragnarok, the sequel to 2018’s soft reboot for god-slaying dad Kratos, is coming later this year, PlayStation Studios developer Santa Monica Studio confirmed on Wednesday.
